Complete Compliance with UK Regulations

UKAS Testing & Certification

Certification should always come top of the list when choosing right cladding materials. The past few years have seen regular amendments to regulations, at FUTURAL (UK) LTD we always stay abreast of updates and strictly adhere to the protocols to prove our complete compliance with the UK Regulations.

Below are requirements of the UK regulations related to architectural cladding products and a summary of our compliance under the those standards:

Building Safety ACT 2022

The Safety Act 2022 is a new legislation that came into effect in Oct, 2023. Without reference to specific requirements of products performance, it introduces the methods of “Gateways ” and “Gold Thread of Information”, and sets out rules to improve the design, construction and management of higher-risk buildings, essentially urging for safety, transparency, traceability and accountability in the UK construction industry.

FUTURAL (UK) LTD mirrors the core values of Safety ACT 2022 ideologically and practically. All of our products have been stringently tested with UKAS accredited laboratories to be compliant, fire-resistant, weather-proof, and quality-assured, whilst all certifications and technical information are transparent and available on this website. We also welcome customers to our factory to inspect our process.

CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS REGULATIONS 2011

Known as Regulation (EU) No.305/2011, this was a EU regulation with the target that only qualified product bearing CE mark would be placed on the EU market. Since “BREXIT”, the UK government has made corresponding amendments, using UKCA mark to replace CE mark, requiring that construction products within the UK market declare products performance and carry UKCA mark.

Futural, our premium cladding product, has been tested by an Approved Body and has successfully been UKCA marked.
